To deliver high-quality software faster and more efficiently, organizations have adopted Agile and DevOps.   Test Automation is a key enabler of agility.   However, Test Automation investments can be hampered by ineffective strategies. This article will talk about how to create an intelligent Test Automation strategy that can prevent common Test Automation failures. 1.   Find Your Test Automation Goals, Measure Success Without a goal, Test Automation is useless.   To develop a Test Automation strategy, the first step is to identify goals that will measure success. Only a Tester? Part-Way Through Data Analysis

Testers can come from many backgrounds and play multiple roles.   Testers are more than "just testers ...". Many testers don't feel supported by their tools at the moment.   My research revealed stories of anger, fear, frustration, and fear. I also realized the importance of understanding the person using the tools. Isabel Evans is my name and I am interested in the experiences of testers using automation and tools.   "Who is testing?" is what I have been researching.   I'm curious about their background, experience, and readiness to take on a test role. My data contains the experiences of more than 250 testers around the world.   This data gives insight into the diversity of their test subjects and the complexity of their jobs.   People who test are often from diverse backgrounds, with sometimes surprising careers and interests.   Testers are more than just testers . Half asleep, half thirsty and gazing at the Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 19 that the couple next me was watching, I began to read the Quality Engineering articles offline that I had prepared the days prior. Perhaps it was the intense air conditioner, my swelling feet or insomnia, but whatever I was reading, it started making sense and got me hooked. From that horrible flight, I have been learning about this fascinating, exciting and often overlooked field in the industry. Today, I will gather my thoughts and summarize my learnings about the Modern Tester. I hope this article will convey that the ways we contribute to the success and growth of our software delivery teams is always evolving. Let's start by clarifying - or rather, declaring: Modern Testing is the antithesis to Traditional Testing It is more than that. Why is this necessary...
